What are labels?

Labels refer to the stickers placed on each collection device. Labels are used to match your sample with your electronic lab order, verify your identity, confirm stability of the sample and in some cases, assign the correct reference range based on your time of collection.

Labels include a printed kit ID and barcode, for the lab to match your kit, as well as a space for your Full Name, Date of Birth and Date/Time of Collection. Be sure to fill out all three of these pieces of information, or your sample will be placed on hold at the lab.
