What if there is an issue with my sample at the lab?
If there is an issue with your sample at the lab, there are a few things you might see:
If your sample can be recovered (ex: lab order is Joseph, sample says Joe), the lab will place it on temporary hold and an Ash support team member will reach out to confirm any missing information required for processing.
If your sample cannot be recovered (ex: the sample spilled in transit) you might see a QNS (quantity not sufficient) or TNP (test not performed) result. More information on those results can be found in the "Results" section of this Patient Support Center.
